at the Rockin’ on the River Festival

Join us for the 1st annual Bob Wiley Memorial Boat Parade, Saturday May 20th on Pickwick Lake.  Any type of boat is welcome to join the parade. Captains, all you have to do is show your crews patriotism by decorating your boat in RED, WHITE & BLUE.

Boaters will gather at two places on the river for the parade. Eastport, Mill Creek, Bear Creek & Alabama boaters will line up at Eastport from 3 to 4 P.M. If you are a boater coming from Pickwick LakeGrand Harbor Condominiums and MarinaPickwick Landing State ParkAqua Yacht Harbor Marina or the Tennessee–Tombigbee Waterway you will line up at the Pickwick Waterfalls from 3 to 4. Both groups will arrive at the mouth of J.P. Coleman State Park and merge at 5:00 P.M.

Grand Marshall’s for the 1st Annual Bob Wiley Memorial Boat Parade will be the Bob Wiley Family and the Sundaze Crew. They will lead the boat parade from Eastport to Coleman Park. The Waterfalls group will follow the last Eastport parade boat into Indian Creek and J.P. Coleman State Park for the official start of the parade and judging

There will be a “Boaters Only” party, prizes & awards for the best decorated, most spirited boat & crew, most patriotic, etc….FUN..FUN..FUN
